Kane to try and force Man City move

Harry Kane could reportedly refuse to report for pre-season training with Tottenham Hotspur in order to try and force a move to Manchester City as, according to , some of his England teammates believe.

Despite manager Pep Guardiola mentioning on more than one occasion that the club might not be able to afford a striker to replace Sergio Aguero in their ranks, the Premier League champions have already communicated their readiness to pay £100 million for the services of the 27-year-old striker. However, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is believed to be adamant about not listening to any offers for the England captain.

Kane is currently on his three-week holiday following England s defeat in the final of the Euros, and if Levy s stance doesn t change, he could opt to make his own stance clear by not turning up at the club when he is supposed to.

A similar thing happened with Gareth Bale in 2013, when the Welsh winger eventually got his wish to join Real Madrid.
