Assassin’s Creed Shadows Details Enemies, Skills, and More in Combat Overview

After a detailed overview of Assassin’s Creed Shadows&#8Sports Betting217; stealth mechanics a couple of week ago, with the open world action RPG’s launch drawing ever closer, Ubisoft has published another gameplay overview, this time revealing a host of new details on the game’s combat.

The bulk of the overview is focused on the two protagonists – Yasuke and Naoe – and the different ways they will function in combat, but on top of that, it also reveals further details on skills, for instance. Full information on progression will be revealed later, but Ubisoft says that gaining levels and defeating specific enemies will earn players Mastery Points, which you’ll use to pur…

Rooney backs Kane to smash England record at World Cup

England s all-time leading goalscorer Wayne Rooney hopes Harry Kane smashes his record during the World Cup.

Kane heads to the tournament with 51 goals for the Three Lions, two behind Rooney s record hail, with the pair standing as the only England players to have hit the half-century mark.

Having scored six times in Russia four years ago to win the Golden Boot, Kane will be confident of surpassing Rooney s tally in Qatar.

While others may wish to hold onto such a record, Rooney is fully behind Kane taking a record that is there to be broken .

I m delighted for him, I think he ll go on and smash the record, I think he ll end up on 70-odd goals, Ronney told TalkSPORT.

He deserves it for the work he puts in. It s a huge honour to have the record b…

Calderon: Real a ´small club´

Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has slammed the La Liga club for not offering the Bernabeu for the Copa del Rey final.

Real s refusal to hand over their home stadium for the Spanish cup final between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao is petty , according to Calderon.

The Bernabeu is the obvious choice to stage the showpiece because of its capacity, but Madrid are reluctant to stage the game given that the last time Barca and Bilbao met in the tournament decider in Valencia in 2009, the Spanish national anthem was booed by fans from both sides.

There have been claims, though, from the likes of Barcelona defender Dani Alves, that Madrid do not want to host the final because of the intense rivalry which exists between the two powerhouse clubs.

Remy cool on Spurs link

Loic Remy has played down speculation linking him with a possible switch to Tottenham.

The Marseille forward admits he has spoken with his club s hierarchy at Stade Velodrome, but concedes any move is a long way off.

For now Remy is happy to help the club champions of France in 2009-10 in their efforts to improve upon their current eighth place in Ligue 1, though he admits further talks about his future will be held in due course.

For now it s not a reality, Remy told Telefoot. I spoke about it with president (Vincent Labrune) and Jose Anigo.

Today, the fans really need me because we are in a delicate situation. My future? We will speak about it at the appropriate time.

In Janauary, Remy s agent Frederic Guerra admitted the Marseille star wou…

Arsenal 0 Red Star Belgrade 0: Gunners reach Europa League knockouts despite dour draw

Arsenal qualified for the Europa League knockout stages despite failing to impress in a dour 0-0 draw against Red Star Belgrade at Emirates Stadium on Thursday.

A point proved enough to send Arsene Wenger s side through as BATE Borisov were beaten 5-2 away to Cologne, who remain bottom of Group H but still have a chance of advancing following their victory.

There were 11 changes to the Gunners side that beat Swansea City 2-1 in the Premier League on Saturday, goalkeeper Matt Macey making his European debut in an inexperienced line-up.

Macey did his part to secure the point, tipping a header from Vujadin Savic against the crossbar as Red Star threatened to take a surprise lead into half-time.

With impressive form in this competition not enough to earn Jack…

Southgate worried about potential for England burnout

Gareth Southgate fears England s top stars will be burnt out by the time the rescheduled Euro 2020 tournament comes around next year.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been critical of the Premier League for their refusal to follow other European leagues and sanction the use of five substitutes.

This season s matches have been squeezed into a shorter timeframe due to the impact of the coronavirus, which delayed the completion of the 2019-20 season.

Speaking at a media conference following the draw for the World Cup qualifying groups for Qatar 2022, the England manager joined Klopp in expressing his fears over the workload placed on some players.

I think all coaches are concerned about the number of matches, Southgate said.

It s not one area in …

Arteta in awe of ´culture´ Klopp has created at Liverpool

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta is in awe of the winning culture created by Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool and the German s ability to root out any early signs of complacency, acknowledging they are at a level the Gunners aspire to.

Liverpool ended a 30-year wait for the English top-flight title last season as they won their first Premier League crown, finishing 18 points clear of Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola s City had broken a host of records en route to the title in the previous two seasons, although Liverpool finished only one point adrift of them in 2018-19.

While much of the focus for Liverpool is on their success last season, they have been consistently exceptional for two years and Arteta could only marvel at the achievement.

The Spaniard presided over a …

Willem II 2 Twente 2: Visitors come from behind to draw

Twente came from two goals down to snatch a 2-2 Eredivisie draw against Willem II, bringing the curtain down on a difficult week for the club.

The 2010 Dutch champions were deducted three points on Wednesday after being penalised by the Dutch Football Association (KNVB) for failing to reduce their debts.

The Enschede outfit s nightmare week looked set to continue on Friday as they fell behind to a scrappy Jerson Cabral effort after 19 minutes the former Netherlands youth international on loan at Willem II from Twente.

Cabral seemed intent on showing his parent club what they were missing and slotted home a second four minutes later.

But Twente refused to go down without a fight and reduced the deficit when Hakim Ziyech curled in a free-kick just befor…

Lyon hold firm on Cissokho price

Lyon say they will allow left back Aly Cissokho to leave the club, providing their asking price of 11 million euros is met.

The 24-year-old continues to be linked with an exit from the Stade Gerland, with Serie A duo Juventus and Napoli understood to be vying for his services.

It has been suggested that Cissokho s transfer is close at hand, but Lyon have warned all interested parties that the France international will not be sold on the cheap.

Contrary to what has been written in French and Italian media in the last days, negotiations with clubs who may want the player will not begin for a fee inferior than 11 million euros, a club statement read.

Lyon would like to remind that Aly Cissokho has played 91 Ligue 1 and 29 Champions League matches at the c…

England should have gone for O´Neill, says Shilton

Republic of Ireland manager Martin O Neill has long been the ideal candidate to lead England, according legendary goalkeeper Peter Shilton.

England are once again on the lookout for a new permanent manager following Sam Allardyce s departure in controversial circumstances this week.

Shilton, who has a record 125 caps to his name, is not convinced there is a suitably qualified English manager available to replace Allardyce and match the calibre of top coaches from his playing days.

The 67-year-old feels O Neill should have been appointed before Roy Hodgson was hired in 2012 and thinks the Football Association now faces a tricky task to find a credible successor to Allardyce.

If we are looking at Englishmen there is not a great list at the mom…
